FFT IP cores for FPGAs
San Jose, Calif. A set of Fast Fourier transform (FFT) floating-point intellectual property cores has been unleashed for the Stratix family of FPGAs. The FFT cores are available in two versionsRadix 2 and Radix 4. The Radix 4 version delivers a 1-kpoint complex processing time of 25-μs at 200 MHz and requires approximately 10% of the resources of a mid-range Stratix device. The Radix 2 core is half the size of the Radix 4 core and offers a 1-kpoint complex processing time of 50 μs at 200 MHz. Both cores comply with the IEEE 754 spec and are verified with ModelSim software.
Pricing: The IP cores are provided in the Quartus II software package, which is priced at $2000 for a 12-month license Availability: Now
