"For consumers who want the ultimate in portable navigation, we are pleased to introduce our new N.I.C.E. 430 handheld unit," said Ralph Dominguez, senior product planning manager, Clarion Corporation of America. "Our N.I.C.E. 430 handheld offers it all in a sleek unit: GPS navigation, music/picture storage and playback."

The N.I.C.E. 430 handheld includes a 4.3" touch screen LCD monitor and built-in speaker and rechargeable battery. With 1GB internal memory and SD card interface, N.I.C.E. 430 can store and load navigation and music for any situation. For pin-point navigation and traffic assistance, the unit has a built-in SiRF Star III GPS antenna and is also Real-Time Traffic (RDS-TMC) ready. Additional features of the N.I.C.E. 430 include built-in hands-free Bluetooth, picture viewer, turn-by-turn voice prompts, and USB interface. The unit comes with a window mount and stylus pen.

With a high quality LCD panel visible in daylight and soft on the eyes at night, maneuvering through the menus or entering an address can be done with ease. And with the integrated Bluetooth phone interface, making and receiving calls can be done effortlessly without taking eyes off the road. N.I.C.E. 430 taking portable navigation to another level.

Now consumers never have to wonder where they are or where they're going with Clarion's handheld navigation system. The portable handheld N.I.C.E. 430 will launch in 2007 with an M.S.R.P. of $499.99.
