Fremont, Calif. — Actelis is coming out of the gate this week with it MetaLIGHT 100E system, a broadband box designed to bridge the last-mile Ethernet gap with copper links.

The MetaLIGHT 100E box is developed around the company's proprietary MetaLOOP technology, which allows can bundle up to 48 copper loops together to form a broadband Ethernet pipe to the customer. Through MetaLOOP technology, Actelis can use G.shdsl modems and spatial division multiplexing (SDM) technology to transmit signals over a set of bundled channels. Additionally, the MetaLOOP architecture delivers dynamic bandwidth management and crosstalk cancellation techniques that improve capacity and bit-error-rate (BER) performance on the copper links.

The MetaLIGHT 100E can achieve a reach of 18,000 ft. and delivers between 3 and 60 Mbit/s peak data rates. The NEBS III-complaint box also supports 802.1q WLAN-aware bridge functionality.
