2001 Network IC Directory

Our 3rd Annual Network IC Directory

Welcome to Communication Systems Designsý Network IC directory ý online style! Weýre proud to bring you this searchable listing of the vendors and products making todayýs most innovative ICs for networking equipment. Weýve put this directory together as a resource you can check whenever youýre in need of a component for any design.

This listing has grown substantially since its inception in January 1999, and youýll find some old and new faces represented here. But the aim is the same ý helping you speed up the process of finding and evaluating key components for your networking, broadband, wireless and optical designs.

One thing youýll no doubt find useful in this online version of the directory is its handy searchability feature. For each page of the directory ý whether itýs the company, product, or application listings, youýll find a text box interface to our search engine. Go ahead and enter your terms there to find the part thatýs right for your design. For example, if youýre looking for a Phy or an FPGA, enter that term, and youýll see a listing of those components.

Looking for components for a general application category, such as DSL, VoIP or Fibre Channel? Or what about processors made by a specific company? You can find any of these, no matter which page of the directory youýre in, just by entering your terms in the search field.

There is also an all-encompassing chart of this directory that you can view online, or save as a PDF file to print for later use. Whichever method you choose ý browsing, searching or printing ý we think youýll find the 2001 Network IC directory a useful resource. What a way to start the new year.

Sincerely,
The Staff of Communication Systems Design
