CommsDesign.com Contributor's Guidelines
CommsDesign.com is the online technical resource for OEM design engineers and managers involved in the development of communication systems and equipment. CommsDesign.com delivers highly technical design information and resources to engineers involved in the development of mobile phones, internetworking equipment, wireless base stations, optical networking equipment, broadband systems and more. Here's a set of guidelines for submitting content for the site.

Contributed Technical articles
CommsDesign.com's delivers hands-on, how-to technical articles that focus on the design of communication systems and equipment. These articles, which must be written by practicing engineers, should be step-by-step instructions that provide designers with system-level insights into improving hardware, software, and hardware/software co-development design. Additionally, these technical articles provide engineers with insights into current/emerging standards as well as on emerging design trends.

To submit an article, please forward a detailed abstract (around 200 words) and outline to site editor Patrick Mannion at pmannion@cmp.com. Final articles run between 2300 and 2500 words and include between 2 and five pieces of art. Articles should be submitted in a Word or Text format. Artwork should be submitted in a GIF or JPEG format that is no more than 400 pixels wide.

All final articles will be considered exclusive for CommsDesign.com for 90 days. CMP Media LLC, CommsDesign.com's parent organization, will also retain the right to use this article worldwide in any media. Please note, we reserve the right to reject articles after initial acceptance.

New Product Information
On a daily basis, CommsDesign.com highlights the latest new products being released for the development of Communication systems and equipment. Typical products include, DSPs, RF ICs/components, microprocessors, microcontroller, network processors, analog front ends (AFEs), embedded software tools, communication boards, and more.

Product information can be submitted either electronically or via mail.

Electronic product releases should be sent to Site Editor Rich Nass at rnass@cmp.com. Text should arrive in a Word format, text format, or embedded in the e-mail. Images should be sent in either a GIF or JPEG format.
